How to Connect Airpods to HP Laptop – Find the headphones plug
Most people will have two cords going into their headphone jack. One will be for use with just your left set of earbuds, and one will connect you directly to the speaker system in your laptop (with no earphones around).
The third option is connecting both air pods at once!
This works best if you have a hard drive installed on your computer with digital music files stored within it.
You can enable this feature by seeing “digital audio” under the hearing aid section of the sound options in the control panel app.
That way when we listen through our laptops, the soundtrack is coming from the speakers instead of from the external microphone that could eavesdrop on your conversation.
These settings remain plugged in until you turn off the power save mode on your laptop or delete all the songs we downloaded.
Find the right port
Most laptops have one or more ports into which you can plug headphones. If your laptop has only one headphone socket, that’s the one you want to use for audio recordings.
But if you need to use headphones with your webcam at the same time, choose a different port. The most common place to find this is along the top of the laptop; some prefer it if there are no plugs in the way.
You will also need an adapter to convert the charging cable from the wall to using battery power (the other way around isn’t as much of a problem). Some phones have built-in adapters for charging cables.
Keep track of how many times you change each wire to avoid mixing up the connections. Check laptop reviews here.
Place the headphones in the right port
Most laptop ports accept regular, over-the-cord headphones. You’ll need to try one of them before placing your AirPods into the port.
When you plug in your AirPods, they should automatically power up. The process will vary depending on the type of headphone adapter that you use.

Will it work?
Apple’s website advises users that their “Airpower” feature works with select 13-inch MacBook Pro models, including the iPhone X, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPad Pro 9.7 inches. You can also use AirPods with all 12-inch MacBooks from early 2010 onwards.
However, there are no specifications regarding audio quality or loudness. It is just stated that they will be more than sufficient for listening to music through the speakers of your laptop.
You cannot listen to any other types of media through your laptop’s speakers. If you want to listen to tunes while you’re flying, we recommend the One Touch Wireless Charger instead.
This USB wireless charger does not require an invitation code and can be purchased at hundreds of stores globally. There is also a version available for the 11-inch iPad tablet.
Do I need to do anything else?
After pairing your AirPods with your device, you should also set up access for the voice control feature. You will have to speak from anywhere in your device’s radius (the place where you placed your phone) to initiate this function.
After setting it up, you can tell the app to start listening for sounds such as “wakeup” or “Voice Control Mode”. The sound will be heard by Apple devices within 30 feet of your phone.
You can then ask Siri any question, and she will reply via your iPhone’s microphone. If used correctly, speaking directly into the phone instead of the mic can avoid detecting when someone is talking.
This could go wrong quickly though if you were to talk very softly; the outside world might hear what you are saying anyway. Listening mode will detect this type of noise as well and ignore your speech until after detection.
At that point, listen carefully for two seconds to make sure nothing has changed over there. Once it remains quiet, say ‘Hey Siri’ loudly enough so that they can hear you even through the loudspeaker.
They will know that something is happening. At this point explain that you want to connect your audio player. Give them both names and the passcode to each other.
Tell her which one you want to use first, and hold down the button once she asks how you would like to use it
Charging, then click on the hp icon in the menu
Once you have connected your AirPods to your laptop, use the power button to close all running apps except for the hp update manager. Tap on “update” from within the app.
A download screen will appear after accepting an agreement saying this is an optional upgrade. There will be a message telling you that downloading requires restarting your computer which it does as soon as you start the installation process.
You can now either connect other devices to charge or transfer them by using your Bluetooth since everything is charged again. You can also check how much battery life remains with both headphones before connecting to any other device.
Go to settings
On your iPhone, go to the settings app, then touch it generally. Under that, you’ll find something called Bluetooth.
If it is turned on, you can skip this step. The type of headset or microphone needed will be displayed. You will also see if your iPhone phone has another device connected using Bluetooth.
Click allow from the list on the screen. Then click start listening! Your airpo1s are now connected with a hp laptop. It will automatically begin streaming media through your headphones.
To disconnect them, simply turn off the speaker on your mobile device. To reconnect, just repeat these steps while leaving the speakers closed for a while.
Go to battery
Before you connect your AirPods to your laptop, you need to charge them.
You can find the charging port at the bottom of your device next to the battery. Once you open it, place one airport inside and screw in the seal. The other pod will remain outside for now.
Once complete, plug in the power cord. You’re ready to go!
On an iPhone, the process is similar except that there are two different types of ports; one supports wireless charging, while the other needs USB charging.
Find your hp laptop in the list
Open any browser, type in www.apple.com/go /hw, then follow the instructions for connecting the earphones.
The computer will know it is an apple device because you have the mac brand of headphones. The new page works best if you are using an online portal; otherwise, go straight to the website by clicking here.
You can connect to your laptop via wi-fi or through a cable depending upon whether you are connected to the internet with wifi or not. If you are not connected to the internet, purchase both cables ($14.95) which come in a pack that contains the USB and audio-video data transmission (avi).
